these are my 2 title sequences i did, i worked on cinema 4D and it was really hard tracing the clip to include my name in, i encountered many problems as this was the first time i had used cinema 4D but i got my head around it and i believe my pieces look really good and creative.

from learning what not to do i created this piece and added various sounds swell, i believe i have improved a lot on this piece and took big steps to creating a really effective piece


i am really happy with this outcome it works really well, the videos i took really express the theme i chose to explore.

for this project i had to incorporate a name on an urban environment so it will blend in and look natural

i chose this example because it blends in really well in the building and also the reflections work so it lives in the environment.

New way of looking 1st attempt

with the information i had collected i put this clip together, my idea was to show the story of how nature fights back and in a way i created that but in a way it didn't. It wasn't communicating exactly what i expected but from this try i can learn.

i decided my focus was to show nature fighting back against man made environment, for example pavement cracks created by tree roots and destroyed walls from growing trees. i took a trip to a local nature park and i captured a lot of photos that supported my theme i also took clips.

 these are just a couple of examples i have included to give a feel of how my project will be heading.

with this brief we had to make a 2 minute film showing something we see every day but don't really notice for example, the day of a pair of shoes, what happens in their life and what goes on, basically telling a story, i decided after a lot of primary research and came up with a theme of 'nature fighting back'. i had taken images and clips of nature pushing back against modern day infrastructures for example a tree root growing under and cracking concrete, a tree growing into and destroying metal fences etc. i also got secondary research and my favourite was the clip in the film Narnia where tree roots destroy the man made wooden catapult at 1 minute 20 seconds it shows the narrative of how I'm approaching this theme.
